The airline Conviasa announced that it will reconnect Caracas with the city of Mérida as of May 11. The route will operate three weekly frequencies (Thursday, Friday and Sunday) in ATR 42 aircraft with capacity for 48 passengers. The round trip fare starts at US$95 (taxes included).
Laser Airlines announced this Thursday that it will resume its direct flights between Caracas and Bogotá (Colombia) as of June 12, 2023, becoming the third airline to offer flights between the two capitals, after Turpial Airlines and Satena. The company will operate three weekly flights (Monday, Wednesday and Sunday) on McDonnell Douglas MD-83 aircraft.
Aerolíneas Estelar will resume its flights between Caracas and Santiago de Chile as of March 11, according to the company. The route will operate weekly, with a stopover in Lima, on Boeing 737 aircraft, and round-trip prices from $850 (including taxes). The flights will leave Caracas at 17:10, arriving in Santiago at 03:40 (local time). They will take off from the Chilean capital at 1:40 p.m., landing at the Maiquetía airport at 10:10 p.m. (local time).
